Hoover was 19-12 over his career at TCU. Evidently that is worth billions!

After the '24 season I thought LaNorris Sellers & Lagway were the best Qbs for the NFL. Opposing teams in '25 combed through tape figured out weaknesses and Sellers was stuck with a neophyte OC and Lagway had a sophomore slump.
It will be interesting to see if Briles can resurrect Sellers and where Lagway lands. If an NFL arm means accuracy, reading your progressions and supreme ball placement, Lagway fits. The heck with him, Drew Brees and the other 177 or so QBs for leaving Texas.

Some of you may remember his dad, Nick Sanders, a former All-Conference DB for TCU in 2005-2009.
This kid is a big DB with a legacy pedigree. Jayden is 6’-1” 193 and runs a 4.42 40 yards. He was a 4 star HS recruit & graded out at 94 in 2025. He’s from Kilgore.
I’ve heard TCU is definitely interested.

Why wouldn’t there be legal options. With the amount of money a guy can make playing college football I’d make a pretty big bet somebody’s going to file suit questioning the validity of 4 years of eligibility. Who decided that? Who continues to say that’s the rule? Why is it 4 years? Who determined what’s eligible to have a year not count? We couldn’t pay athletes or have NIL until lawsuits were filed and players won decisions. I’ll truly be shocked if there are no lawsuits over the number of seasons a player can play college football.
