Football season tickets question

TopFrog

Lifelong Frog
Has anyone heard as far as football season tickets if they are doing plus4 again this year if you didnt last year? Or are they only allowing you to buy up to what you purchased last year?

The plus four was only for reseating the stadium last year. I assume everybody who had any number of season tickets last year will be able to renew all of them this year, if they so choose.

Right so you can renew up to whatever you bought or the max allowed per account but mo more unless you did plus 4 last year and you can keep those.

Instead of a new thread, I will add another question here.

Have they specified the process to upgrade seats? More specificly, when you state you want to upgrade, do they release your seats for others to choose or are yours only released after you choose different seats?

It would suck to say you want to upgrade only to find when your turn comes there are no better seats (by the seat owners definition) and yours are gone. End up being in seats the seat holder deems worse.

I don't really understand how the process isn't 100% straightforward. How could they let people +4 again without reseating the entire stadium again? (Hint: they can't.) It has been made abundantly clear that reseating was a one-time thing.

Common sense would dictate that (1) everyone gets renewal info and a deadline. Then (2) after the expiration of said deadline, current season ticket holders will have an opportunity to upgrade based on availability. Then (3) open seats made available to the waiting list and then general public. The only question is if you could add seats in step (2) or not. But you certainly won't be able to add seats before everyone has a chance to renew their 2012 seats.

*Small exception for those "red dot" seats---they'll move behind renewals and before new ticket holders.

Don't know what "like any other year" would be. Never upgraded before.

So I am going to guess that everyone will renew, then the ticket office will work their way down the list of all the season ticket holders in PP order and ask if they want to move into a better location or keep their existing one..?

In my past experience, renewals and upgrades are handled at different times. The first round will be to confirm the number of seats you want to renew. A few months later, they will send upgrade information. Based on priority points levels, they will assign upgrade periods similar to the ticket assignment process last year. During your time, you can choose to affirm your current seats or select any seats that are currently open. There is no chance to end up with less desireable seats, unless you miss deadlines. I am not sure how they will handle requests for additional seats.

Last year atofrog said they were planning to use the ballina software again. First they'll send out something asking if you want to Renew, Upgrade, or Not Renew. If you choose renew you're locked into your prior seats (red dot seats won't have renew option, only upgrade or not renew). If you renew you keep your current seats.

If you choose upgrade, they'll give you a time to log into the ballina software we used last year in an order of priority points. They'll keep a hold on your previous seats until your log in time. When your time comes up you'll have the option to pick from the available seats at that point or keep your current seats if you don't like any of the available seats. Red dot seat holders are unclear if they fall in priority point order or back of the line order (meaning likely in GA seating).
