I think someone's crystal ball was cracked about Carder injury.

Agreed.

Personally I think it is just coach speak tank walked away from getting run over so who knows. My main point was how great it is that we are 2 to 3 deep across the board with real talent. We don't have to force them back early. Then again my source could be crapt. Don't think so.

Two years ago I had rotator cuff surgery plus some other shoulder joint fixing. I was almost 71 years old and in generally questionable physical condition, but in 4 months I had rehabbed to full use and strength in the shoulder. Considering Tank's age and superior condition, plus the rehab facilities available to him, he should ready to roll by mid-August.....unless this injury is something much, much more than we think.

The DTs just look like beasts 3 deep and then some so not sure why that is a problem.

I'm just looking at the latest depth chart that has three freshmen (Maponga, Johnson and House) backing up Cory Grant at DT. That to me is a question mark.

Agreed, and there is a big difference between saying "that is a question mark" and "man, are we gonna suck at that position if a starter goes down."

I never said rotator. Never asked either. The person simply said he won't be back next year due to the type of rehab involved. Just relaying info and not trying to be a bigshot or I would have started a thread yesterday right after I left their office. Not saying they can't be wrong but they are very closely involved.

Not sure I would call someone who "hangs out it operating rooms and such" and "works with gas masks" "very closely involved."

I am a bit bummed that Coleman's name isn't prominently mentioned or at all. He was one of the bell cows of that class. Any insight on him?

By end of spring I think Maponga was back at DE where he belongs. Yendrey back at tackle behind Grant, where he looked durn good last year. In short, behind the G and G starters, Frogs are young, but not in bad shape, counting Johnson and Coleman.

To me it is more about injuries. Carder appears out for year with long re hab so that stings even though we have depth. D Smith appears headed for redshirt following ACL surgery but we have depth there. I think both players would make us better but it is a testament to how far we have come as a program that we have so much quality depth.

Where did you get your information?

Carder is suppose to be back by August to train per CGP. CGP definitely would not say that if there was any doubt to him being back.

Nothing that I have read has been definitevly stated about Smith's knee, so if you have some link saying it is a torn ACL I would be interested in reading it.

Travel a lot. Usually ck in on blacberry is the answer. Any suggestions? Won't make me respect you anymore but would appreciate it.

Well I hope they are wrong, losing carder would be a bigger hit than losing DS, but I as well as a few other people are pretty pumped about getting to see him in top form.

Chipotle now serves gas masks with any burrito purchase.

It isn't a news story. Just disregard it if you want a link. DS has had the surgery already. Both will be available for training but neither will probably play next year. According to ... My guess is more news will start coming out in the next few weeks to back it up. Will be interesting to see the spin.

Not a bad idea, but they should give them to those dining with the burrito purchaser, rather than the burrito purchaser.
