Fire Briles. Promote Meacham

I disagree with ^^^

Replace Donati with someone that knows how to be an Athletic Director. Let that person figure out what to do with the football coaching staff.
And that will all get done before the end of the season? Like you go to the store and pick a new AD off the shelf and plug them in?

Changes come from the top.
When changes are needed, they’re needed.
Whether the impact is felt this season or down the road should not drive the decision.

Donati has done a good job overall IMO. The Dykes hire was not a good one, but he has made great hires (so far) in the other programs, elevating Saarloos who went to the CWS. So I am good with giving him a chance to do the right thing with football.
Saarloos regressed last season, just like Dykes, after a 'magical' first season. Saarloos needs to have a return to expected baseball standards this season, not another below expectations follow up , like Sonny is orchestrating currently.

So , I would say the judgement is pending on whether Saarloos was a "good hire".

I get the frustration and I'm in favor of change as much as anyone but it has to be productive and serve a purpose. Promoting Meacham to head coach or putting Dana, who spends the games enjoying himself in the one of the club sections, in charge of the offense is not going to be productive or serve any purpose.
Yup, if anything is done, it will be at the end of the season. (Unless the frustration causes a clubhouse blowup)
It’s a huge decision that will definitely cost TCU $20+ million in just Dykes’ separation.
Resultantly, A full blown coaching search will take place and the new coach will determine if anyone stays. It’s a big issue, our DC still has about $5m to go.

TCU is usually not fast to react but I would hope that with the early signing day being what it is, if the decision is made to move on from Sonny that they get ahead on that timeline to find a new coach.

As for coaches staying, I'm probably in the minority but wouldn't mind it if the new coach wanted to work with Avalos and give him the ability to pick his own position coaches. He's proven to be an effective defensive coach in the past and the talent he inherited on that side of the ball is just atrocious. I think given time to develop some guys, he would figure it out.
