The short side option is better than this nonsense.
Schultz ran the short side option, not Meach. The short side option is better than this nonsense.
I’d rather have ShulzSchultz ran the short side option, not Meach.
Just fire dykes and briles and have Dana win the offense. Put Todd as HC for remainder of season.
Todd can handle D.Are we going to ignore that the defense is the worst part of this team going away? Houston is literally one of the worst offensive teams in college football and we made them look Ohio State out there.

Meach is air raid. SSO was Schulz two decades ago practically. The short side option is better than this nonsense.
And that will all get done before the end of the season? Like you go to the store and pick a new AD off the shelf and plug them in?I disagree with ^^^
Replace Donati with someone that knows how to be an Athletic Director. Let that person figure out what to do with the football coaching staff.
Brilliant observation. Fir the DCAre we going to ignore that the defense is the worst part of this team going away? Houston is literally one of the worst offensive teams in college football and we made them look Ohio State out there.
Saarloos regressed last season, just like Dykes, after a 'magical' first season. Saarloos needs to have a return to expected baseball standards this season, not another below expectations follow up , like Sonny is orchestrating currently.Donati has done a good job overall IMO. The Dykes hire was not a good one, but he has made great hires (so far) in the other programs, elevating Saarloos who went to the CWS. So I am good with giving him a chance to do the right thing with football.
Yup, if anything is done, it will be at the end of the season. (Unless the frustration causes a clubhouse blowup)I get the frustration and I'm in favor of change as much as anyone but it has to be productive and serve a purpose. Promoting Meacham to head coach or putting Dana, who spends the games enjoying himself in the one of the club sections, in charge of the offense is not going to be productive or serve any purpose.
TCU is usually not fast to react but I would hope that with the early signing day being what it is, if the decision is made to move on from Sonny that they get ahead on that timeline to find a new coach.Yup, if anything is done, it will be at the end of the season. It’s a huge decision that will definitely cost TCU $20+ million in just Dykes’ separation.
Resultantly, A full blown coaching search will take place and the new coach will determine if anyone stays. It’s a big issue, our DC still has about $5m to go.
