SEC target 5-star RB Zach Evans sent home from Texas state championship game over reported rules violation.
- Aug. 2019: Evans suspended multiple games for a violation of team rules.
- Dec. 21: Evans doesn’t play in North Shore’s state championship game because of another violation of team rules
- Dec. 19: He signs a National Letter of Intent with Georgia
- Jan. 7: Evans is released from his LOI by Georgia and free to resume contact and take visits to other programs.
Some people were glad he was gone, myself included. Selfish player.
I would say there was a pattern. GEORGIA let him out of his NIL and they keep everyone around for crimes and reckless driving.
Yes, he was talented but was not worth the headache.
TCU record while Evans was there 2021- 6-4 and 2020 5-7.
TCU record without Evans 13-2....addition by subtraction.
TCU does not need guys that are selfish players that will not follow rules. So not having cook will be ok. There are some talented young receivers on the roster and 1 maybe 2 coming in.
