Field day for the WRs?

I'd rather see us get picked 3 times and lose trying to push the ball down the field than get beat by 2 TDs trying to win K-State game style.

This. My favorite part of the Kstate game was right before half when we tried to move the ball quickly. It ended with a terribly thrown pass for an INT, but at least it looked like we were trying.

I’m going to say that this makes sense–if my standard is that it makes about as much sense as most things said on here by the OP.

Let’s see, the coach says that the QB doesn’t yet read defenses and doesn’t know where to go with the ball. And judging by the number of times we’ve got 5 guys trying to block 6 or 7, he probably doesn’t call protections yet either. And, while he’s trying to figure that out in the pocket there is a jailbreak going on through the offensive line. And, last game when he did have time, he was so beaten down from that pressure that he was throwing the ball 3 or 4 yards from where his receivers were. And, we’re playing a team with a much more athletic interior line and linebackers.

Yeah, makes sense. Let’s air it out.

Or maybe we could play a more Rose Bowl like strategy of field position and taking some selective shots here and there and see where that leaves us later in the game.

Somebody sneak Casey Pachall out of rehab for about 4 hours and we will be fine. Tell them he is just going out for ice cream with the family for Thanksgiving. That would result in an air raid!

Maybe we finally see the CP we have yet to see. He never played to potential.

Don't really know why you would say that. Playing QB at this level is very difficult. Every year, out of 120 or so teams, there are 10 or so QB's who are really good and maybe 5 of those have really mastered the position. CP was at least somewhere in between. If you didn't see that, well, maybe you need to watch some more college football and see what the other teams are putting out there on a week to week basis.
