Jimbo Fisher tried to troll TCU for Georgia blowout after Texas A&M’s 5-7 season​

The TCU Horned Frogs were the kings of Texas in the 2022 college football season, coming just one game away from being kings of the sport, too. Of course, that one game was a 58-point loss to Georgia with the national championship on the line, but that's just semantics. What can definitively be said is that Jimbo Fisher and the Texas A&M Aggies were nowhere close.

Despite tremendous expectations, Fisher's team went just 5-7 on the season, failing to make a bowl game, while also finishing just 2-6 in the SEC.

That didn't stop him from taking a dig at the Horned Frogs, though.

What wasn’t reported is the several minutes of Jimbo being very complimentary of TCU’s success. It’s coaches night. He was asked about TCU. Is he supposed to whimper and talk about being 5-7?

Just hoping we can follow TCU’s pattern of losing season to NCG. One can hope.

Maybe say any one of the many possible things that doesn't make him sound like a Baylor fan circa 2008?

A&Ms formula will never work for them. Paying big bucks for players and coaches, that clash with the everyday "weirdness" that is A&M. If you ever watch them on TV, the players, just don't care, they got their money. Next year will be another dismal failure, then off to find another $77M coach. Wash. Rinse, Repeat....

A&M is basically the Mitt Romney of the SEC. Just don't forget about your dog on the roof of the car.

Only question in my mind about jimbo is how many PIs the 12th man has on payroll right now digging up dirt so they can fire him for cause next year.

not going to happen after they expertly negotiated against themselves for a head coach no one else was going to hire

things should get get really interesting between jimbo and petrino the first time play calling and credit comes up with the media
