Fan Nation: Ole Miss Lands TCU Edge Transfer Khari Coleman

Not sure why everyone is jumping to the conclusion that money had something to do with this decision. It's not as if Coleman publicly said just a few days before transferring that he was looking at all of the money available to him out there. Gee golly y'all.

Not like this year…….they are all in.

Wrong. They were more “all in” in 2016 when they were killing it in recruiting.

In 2016, less than 25% of their recruiting class was from Miss. Multiple future NFL stars in 1 year.

5 Star recruits - 2
4 star recruits - 10

This one year would be our best year of recruiting ever.

As above, what gets me is the way these smallish but passable, part-time TCU starters (with their 2.5 sacks and 220 lb. frames) are suddenly transformed into Consensus All-Americans, by these biased internet college football "team reporters", once they transfer and land at Elsewhere State!
Sounds exactly like what goes on here with kids the Frogs are bringing in. And at every other school it’s the same story.

Ole Miss, now being able to just outright pay kids, may shoot way up nationally. If you think that just because they are located in what overall is a poor state they don’t have some uber-wealthy donors at their disposal then you’re off base. Plenty of old moldy money down there…

Yes, we sucked. Isn't it a bit curious that UT, Ol Miss, OU, USC want these players that the former staff sucked with?

Many of them highly recruited, but I also watch them play entirely too much last year. The only thing I can think for those teams is “Good Luck with all that”.

Enough money to make things happen anyway. What else do they have down there to spend their money on anyway? Evans could be a pretty good purchase with an above average OL. Khari ... as a lb only, possibly good.

They stole a third of a season, helmet tapping, 8 carry a game running back and a 9 game playing, one and half sack having, defensive end from us. Not sure how TCU will survive.
Don't forget that time he was pissed about not getting a 4.0. In Missipi anything above a D you are genius
