So...... We play Arkansas state & Grambling in 1st 4 games of the season, you don't see any value on playing underclassmen on the OL 90% of those 2 games??

Risk = Reward. Defensive end Oyewale had 2 sacks last year and the other DE Chapman had 1.5 sacks in '25. A safety, Kylin Jackson, had 2.5 sacks playing at least HALF of the snaps. i think there is probably no other year where the defense had so few sacks.

Jon Denman had a 3.5 ypc average last year. I think Denman is a better RB than Cam Cook who led the nation in total rushing yards at Jacks State. This is canary in the coal mine for the TCU OL on their ability to run block. "Playin Around" with the starting lineup in OOC schedule is what innovative coaches who possess an inclination towards strategy, innovation and audaciousness do.

Let them play Kylin Jackson, safety. for 90% of the snaps in 1st 4 games. Play Chad Woodfork DE for 90% of the plays. Start at least 3 offensive line underclassmen 75% of the time during 1st 4 games. DT Tristan Johnson needs more snaps.

TCU has one of the top 10 HS sacks leaders in the nation on the roster and nobody knows his name. He is a RS Frosh. give him time against Ark St & Grambling. Risk= Reward.

Good news, Jeremy Scott was running with the 1s & 2s during team for the 1st time today. He caught 2 passes for 19 yds, plus a 3rd pass that went for a long TD on a blown coverage.

Jeremy Scott should be the Z receiver opposite Dwyer when the season starts.
He was a ‘26 portal transfer from S. Alabama. Experienced RS Soph. WR who caught 24 for 417 yds. & 4 TDs last year.
