Not really but since I'm stuck living in this dump of a state, at least for a little while longer, I have to live with all the UConn types and the last thing I need is them in the same conference.

It matters if you don't want to watch TCU play a conference game against U Conn in football.
I get it, the game is changing and it's not looking good for us; the Big XII might get choked out and left to rot by the "Big two" conferences who take all the cash, close access to the playoff and become the Jr. NFL without us, etc. What it would take for the Big XII to stay competitive with the other two leagues might be so improbable that we're doomed to failure, but that doesn't mean you have to root for it to happen. Your posts on this topic have been sounding a lot like Denathor of the besieged Minas Tirith. You should stop looking into your palantir. That shadowy voice on the other end is Greg Sanky and he wants you to kill yourself in despair.
TCU is playing Long Island University on Saturday. I honestly don't think it matters if UCONN joins the league and we play them every other year in a conference game. We've played Kansas every year when they sucked worse than UCONN and nobody seemed too bothered by it.
I think the Big Two have already choked out the Big 12 and I don't think access to the playoffs is a big deal when there is annual free agency and pay-for-play. The end of the year is not going to be pretty.
