ESPN: Casey Pachall back with TCU

By David Ubben | ESPN.com

Casey Pachall is back on TCU's football team, coach Gary Patterson told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The former starting quarterback is scheduled to begin classes when the semester starts on Monday and will return to the team after being arrested for a DUI in early October, disenrolling from the university and leaving the team after being suspended indefinitely.

Pachall spent time at a drug and alcohol treatment facility after leaving the team -- a decision Patterson said was ultimately Pachall's -- and the coach made it clear the door for Pachall to return was open if he met all the requirements and completed the program.

"He finished all of his in-patient work and has been in out-patient work up until Friday," Patterson told the paper. "He did everything we wanted him to do." ...

I cannot stand reading the comments, but for some reason I always do just to see what others are saying, and I always find the same idiotic mindless drivel.

it doesn't matter what the article is, there will be people out there demonizing the person the article is about.

I am of the belief that there are people that just evryone and ererything around them that they criticize things or people when given the chance. You just have to ignore these miserable people.

That's right. No matter what the topic is, there are insecure people in this world who desperately NEED others to fail in order to feel better about themselves.

Many on this board would be making the same comments if this was the QB at Baylor or UT or OU or anywhere else...

Patterson said Pachall is back on the team and started classes today.

Our favorite, Rod Gilmore said is he is concerned about whether Pachall is ok and needs support. Said any coach wants to get playmakers on the field. If Pachall gets on the field and Boykin moves to a different postion you have two impact playmakers on the field. Said TCU may have the best defense in the Big 12 next season.

Short segment.
