Stayed up till the wee hours this morning watching a doc called "Severe Clear" filmed and narrated by Lieutenant Mike Scotti of Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marines. It covers the advance of his unit from Kuwait to Baghdad during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Highly recommended, though not for the faint of heart. Very gritty and grisly.
At one point Lt. Scotti is filming a temporary Marine rest area in some abandoned Iraqi buildings. He enters a "downtime room" being used by a weapons platoon, and as he pans the room, he focuses in on a Texas Aggies flag some Marine has tacked up on the wall. Scotti's narration: "That's our emergency toilet paper."
Of course, he is a New Englander. But it seems even New Englanders know about the Ags,
