Ed Orgeron - Next Coach of TCU

Here’s a name that’s not the shiny pick, but would absolutely kill it at TCU.

He brought LSU a natty, would recruit Louisiana next door incredibly well. Brings a much needed blue collar work ethic to the team.

In talks with Arkansas and Oregon State. We’re a much better job than Oregon State.

Fire Sonny now and go get Coach O.

Fire Sonny now and go get Coach O. It’s actually doable and has tremendous upside.

SMU a better job currently than TCU. Plus, SMEW just re-did Lashlee's contract.
Guarantees him to be a top 10% paid HC. He aint leaving for TCU .
No one from an “equal” program is. It’d be a lateral at best move, likely a step down. You’re going to have to find a coordinator or a head coach from a lower conference.

Yes!
If AD Buddie is smart, he is ringing up Will Stein right now and making him an offer he can’t refuse. Stein is scheduled to make $1.6m at Oregon in 2026.
Stein runs the type of ball control running back by committee rushing offense we need and he has turned Soph. Dante Moore into a killer QB.
He spent time at Lake Travis HS, Texas, & UTSA, so he is well versed in Texas recruiting

“Everybody runs the same stuff, dude,” Stein said, gesturing with the sheet. “You can put on anybody’s tape. Everybody’s running wide-cross, inside zone, counter — it’s really just about the timing of the calls. It’s about having guts to call plays in those moments and letting it loose.

“And then your prep throughout the week sets you up for success on the field, right?”

In Austin, Stein learned that the talent, trust and chemistry he has with his players and coaches had everything to do with the success of the offense.

The actual plays?

“Highly overrated,” he said. “It’s about players. And here at Oregon, they already have unbelievable players.”
