I was never the same athlete after my ACL injury... After seeing several close friends have the same operation with different lengths of recovery, amount of pain, etc. I have come to the conclusion that it all depends on how severe the actual tear is, and how intrusive the surgeon gets. Rehab and confidence have a lot to do with it as well.

Bottom line...never the same.

True, still not positive it is ACL. If it was, I doubt CGP would have even hinted a return this season is possible. Could be an MCL or many other things in the knee area. I am still hopeful it isn't a full ACL tear.

Some interesting research projects might include:
-calculate the percentage of the over 7000 posts that are a part of a conflict of some sort on the forum (my guess is over 50%)
-calculate the percentage of regular posters (over 2000 posts) who have participated in a conflict with this poster ( would guess at least a third)
-calculate the percentage of threads that go over 2 pages that are free of said conflicts with this poster (it would not be very many lately)
