Galloway's column this morning:

At Valley Ranch, all remains quiet. My spies say the only sounds you hear out there these days are the daily butt-pats Jerry is giving Doug Free, along with the soothing message of "You can do it, big fellow. We love you, kid."


This is the same guy that Tommy Blake twisted up like an old tube of toothpaste a few years back in the Whatsitsname Flower bowl in San Diego.

And the Cowboys might win a Super Bowl with Free.

Gary Patterson would make a helluva talent guy in the NFL.

I just saw Doug Free at the Mavs game last week. He has gotten a lot bigger since the Poinsettia Bowl. He stood next to us on the USS Midway and he's much bigger now. He seemed like a really nice guy too.

I'm rooting for him.

If Free stands for "penalty Free" then I am all for it. Agree with what you say about Flo, but on the other [SIZE=12pt]55[/SIZE] plays he whipped his guy.
