Don't understand the BCS

Check the 2011 week 14 BCS rankings. Texas was 6-4 and beat A&M to go to 7-4. That week they had a .260 computer %
The next week, after they lost to Baylor - still at .260

Sagarin had them at 13, but he currently has us at 27.

So how are we not in at least the .200 area? I realize the Big 12 is not as strong as last year, but it is still the best conference.

Is this proof that the computers favor the bigger programs?

We lost to ISU & TTU. Not surprised we're not ranked. I am surprised that the BCS comuters love UT as much as they do though. 8-3 and most likely going to drop to 8-4 after the K-State game.

Good question, I have been wondering the same thing. Seems like if Texas wins or loses they stay in the same range in the polls.

Win OSU, IState and Tech and we would be sitting around 10 or 12 and playing OU for a BCS bid. Lose just one of those and we are around 18 or 20 and looking at Cotton. Despite the youth, we are really close this year. This team is going to kick down the door over 2013 and 2014.
