DMN: TCU to play inaugural basketball game at Dickies Arena against USC Friday

Fort Worth’s new Dickies Arena has hosted concerts from artists like George Strait and Twenty One Pilots, but on Friday it will host a basketball game for the first time as the TCU Horned Frogs take on the USC Trojans.

TCU (6-1) and USC (7-2) will tip off at 8 p.m from Dickies Arena, which was officially opened on Oct. 29. The arena boasts the second-largest continuous 360-degree screen in North America and can seat 13,300 for basketball. It will host the 2020 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships and the AAC men’s basketball championships for 2020-22.

Tickets are still available for TCU’s game.
