DMN: TCU spring breakout candidates: Will wide receiver Jordan Hudson take on a key role?

This is the first of a five-part series examining potential breakout players for the TCU Horned Frogs this spring.

Spring football has begun in Fort Worth. After a College Football National Championship appearance, expectations are high for Sonny Dykes’ second year as TCU’s head coach. Which new recruits and veterans will impress the coaching staff? Here’s breakout candidate No. 1:

Jordan Hudson​

Year: Sophomore
Position: Wide receiver
2018 Stats: Played in 14 games with 14 total receptions, 3 touchdowns, 174 yards

In his freshman season, Hudson had a limited role in the offense. Due to the limited time on the field, most of his games were inconsequential, but the Garland High School product had strong showings against Tarleton State, Iowa State and Michigan.
