DMN: TCU prediction: Horned Frogs need a win against feisty Texas Tech

Last meeting: Texas Tech beat TCU 17-14 in Fort Worth on October 11, 2018

What’s on the line?
Both of these teams enter Saturday with their backs against the wall. TCU and Texas Tech both need two wins over their next three games in order to reach bowl eligibility, and both are counting on Saturday to be one of those wins.
TCU hasn’t missed a bowl since 2013, and the Horned Frogs constantly stress the importance of playing in a bowl game to help build the program. TCU wants to send its seniors out with the best season possible, and Horned Frogs head coach Gary Patterson believes the extra practices before the bowl game are crucial in terms of player development. Four of TCU’s five losses this year have been by one score, and the Frogs would love to prove they know how to win games.
