You’re not making any sense. You called the timing of the hire “cynical and opportunistic” on Sonny’s part. How is that so? Are you suggesting he should have hired a replacement before the Georgia game? Waited longer? What?

I THINK he means that Sonny had OCTF in mind in case the position came open, and knew that it would be controversial and that the blowback might be less considering we were headed to a CFP/Natty.
