DMN: TCU head coach Jamie Dixon's message during win over Florida: 'This is for the Big 12'

FORT WORTH -- While the Big 12/SEC Challenge comes for some as "break" right in the middle of a grueling stretch in conference play, TCU head coach Jamie Dixon doesn't see it that way.
And it doesn't matter how good or weak of an SEC foe any Big 12 team draws for the annual weekend event -- at least not when the Big 12 prides itself for showcasing unparalleled depth in college basketball.
Dixon, following the Horned Frogs' 55-50 win over Florida on Saturday, said he made it clear that his team's latest outing would have a different approach: It wouldn't be about winning for just their own resume.
It would also be about defending the Big 12.
