The Dallas Cowboys are continuing to fill out the back end of their roster as mandatory minicamp rolls on in Frisco.

The Cowboys announced the signing of defensive end Ben Banogu on Wednesday. With the deal done, Dallas has one spot remaining on its 90-man roster.

Banogu, a graduate of Prosper High School, was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the second round (No. 49 overall) of the 2019 NFL draft out of TCU.

I can’t imagine him making the team. He was unable to get on the field with a much less talented team. Hopefully the Dolts made the same mistake they did with Hughes and Ben proves them wrong again.

I recall from interviews at TCU that Banogu was a bright and articulate young man. If the NFL doesn't work out, I could see him as a TV football talking head. Wasn't he a broadcast journalism major, or something similar?
