A college football game between storied programs Alabama and Michigan at Cowboy Stadium in 2012 is being considered, the Mobile Press-Register reported Sunday, citing an anonymous source.

But a deal between the two schools is not close to being finalized, the paper reported. Alabama is still considering Atlanta and Jacksonville, Fla., in addition to Dallas.

I think it would be beyond hilarious if TCU were to win the national title this season, and then those storied programs play in our backyard to open 2011, but the crystal trophy is in Fort Worth.
