Dixon recruiting issue

We have 3 scholarships available. That would bump the walk-ons off the roster but they could continue to practice, etc.
Yeah I didn’t realize they were bumping the scholarship limit up. But I swear I saw something on X that said we only had one more spot before taking the Utah kid

Talk of scholarship limits had diminished meaning in the era of NIL. Focused shifted to maximum roster size

Doubt the room cared much about that. He just wasn’t developing into a useful player and in this day and age you don’t get much time to prove yourself.
Yeah, and this kid got a redshirt year to prove himself (I'm assuming we're talking about Manning). After watching numerous decades of college basketball, I think we can all tell from seeing a freshman whether they can ball or not. I've seen a couple of turnarounds but precious few. Brodziansky was one guy who learned to shoot with his opposite hand between year 1 and 2 and got way better, but I really can't remember anyone else.

Manning looked like he could shoot the 3 really well in drills and warmups but in the game it just wasn’t even close to the same.
