Did anyone else watch the BCS countdown show last night?

AllI know is, a middle of the road Big 12 team is now dominating the SEC.

That team would have won the B12 this year, or been 2nd, as much as it pains me to admit it.

I literally throw up a little every time I think of Manziel winning the Heisman.

I'm not debating SEC superiority. I think with little doubt they've produced the best college football teams for a long time now. You can look at out-of-conference records, bowl records, championships, draft picks, NFL depth charts, etc as proof.

Saying that, it doesn't change the fact that SEC scheduling, along with Big Ten and Pac-12 scheduling, provides an important wins-and-losses advantage over the Big 12's full round robin.

Hypothetically, let's say this year Baylor avoided both OU and OSU (probably two losses) and instead played Pitt and Louisville (lousy expansion scenario), their record would potentially be 9-3 rather than 6-6. All of a sudden, K State's loss to Baylor on the road, doesn't look so terrible......and our win over Baylor on the road is perceived differently as well.

Don't kid yourself, once the Big Ten goes to fourteen teams with Rutgers and Maryland, they will have 5-7 ten-win teams each and every year, just like the SEC. Count on it.

How will the Big 12 compete against this? Expansion is all I can think of......
