Kenny was not ideal today but all the penalties, drops, and some iffy play calling, not to mention a pretty decent effort from ISU contributed to this. I am a huge Diarse fan but he had both a penalty and a drop today.

KH made some bad plays.

Cumby made some questionable play calls.

Offensive line got whipped at the line of scrimmage in short yardage situations and held too much

Boesen was offsides on the interception

Texada could not cover their WR in the 1st half

Reagor ran a wrong route.

The refs had it in for us starting in the 1st quarter. It’s like they all agreed to call the most minimal holds even if they didn’t effect the play. I would like to see a review of every hold. They were huge drive killers from the 1st minute to the 4th. They screwed us

I noticed that. Saw only a couple of backfoot passes. Most of the time he was stepping into the throws, and he was still spraying the ball all over the place.

Kenny just didn't have it today. That being said, he didn't lose the game for us. That was a near total-team effort, plus coaching. Exceptions for Darius Anderson and Kevonte Turpin.

Eliminate the penalties and keep giving it to Hicks and Darius and the final looks something like the Arkansas game IMO.

Kenny steps into his throws frequently. And when the play is called at the right time, it usually means a big game. Kid has a lot of zip. He can spin the ball for real.

But he was forced in to throwing some of the bad stuff due to bad play calling. Cumbie needs to learn to ride Darius for what he is worth. And that means in the red zone around the outside. Especially down by the goal.

Simple conclusion. We played a good football team today, did not play a good game, 11 penalties, either Kenny threw some silly passes or WR’s ran some silly routes. A very ugly game. ISU did not win the game, TCU lost the game. Move on, 7-1, Bowl elligible and tied for the Big 12 lead.
