Nothing serious. Meniscus I think. He's basically said he isn't pushing it because he wants to be 100% for spring. Doing a proper rehab, instead of rushing back

Damn our D is going to be (mating between GDU & Native Frog) salty next year. Can't wait to see Fields and Lathan with a little more weight. Hoping Jenkins from LSU is a Verrett in the making.

The Gildon injury is potentially good news as I believe he's eligible for a medical redshirt. Always thought it was dumb to burn a year of eligibility playing for some JUCO in BFE Mississippi if he had a spot at TCU.

Does anyone know if he was injured early enough for a medical redshirt and/or if they are available in JUCO-to-FBS situations?

Yes, a medical hardship waiver is available to Gildon, provided he meets the criteria in Bylaw 14.2.4. Additionally, the 2-yr. institution must first approve the waiver request before the Big 12 can even look at it, and the JuCo must use the same or stricter criteria in Bylaw 14.2.4. Provided he meets all of these requirements, he should get this year of eligibillity back.

Have to agree with Jake. White made lots of mistakes early but has really improved his game. Enough to where it forces them to throw at Verrett sometimes which I always like :D

That would be a real boon for TCU if he got this year back!
