I think that is a callback to when some color guy - Hank Stram? - used to (mis)use the word during games

Based on what I saw Friday night:

- Bech should start over JP
- Elarms-Orr should start over Hodges

Everything else looked about right.

Any chance one of them, or both rotating, get used as a spy on KJ Jefferson for the UCF game? QB scrambles were the only thing that hurt against Stanford (other than our own mistakes). We'll obviously need to scheme specifically for him somehow.

Some update from Dykes today:

Dylan Wright & JoJo Earle should be ready soon (probably this week but assume will not play)
Major Everhart out a few weeks
Hauss Henjy out a few weeks, maybe more

Nothing on Paul Oyewele but assume even if ready he will be out this week.

They moved Bech to the outside against Stan and probably stays there, JP stays in the slot. McAlister should see more PT behind Williams and Bech. Also Jordan.

People are forgetting that Jamoi Hodge took out at least 2 QBs in 22. That is worth much. I dont think J Hodge & Obiazor have the ability to tag/out a QB who thinks he's a scrambler.

This a temporary revise on the depth chart after 3 games. Let us start with the rushing game. Surprisingly, Cam Cook has a 4.0 average. 44 carries for 170 yards. Dom Johnson has a 4.2 av. 10 carries for 42 yds.

After Cook dropped all those passes give Johnson more than 8% of the carries/opportunities. How about 70% ?? OUR rushing stats are beyond putrid. Ken Seals has our highest average per carry @ 5.0. As a previous person said, Cam Cook is talented but maybe needs to get his head right to perform like we all think he can. Cook received about 90% of the handoffs/playtime last several weeks. Please give Jeremy Payne at least 70 % of carries at SMU and Houston.

Tight End Position: Drake Dabney 4 catches for 20 yards. Over 3 games of that is because of the play calling by briles/Dikes, but this is a farce. Probably a problem with play calling but give the ball to Rogers and Curtis who I think are more talented.

" Explosive Plays " are what make or break a season. FSU in 2013, OSU and Bama in mid 15s. TCU in '22. Check out who is averaging highest ypc and you'll be surprised.

Jack Bech @ 20.6 YPC, Blake Nowell @ 17,3 YPC, JP Richardson @ 13.7 YPC.

And a lot of JP's yards are after the catch.....he's a fighter.
