Delany, Big Ten might feast some more on the ACC

By Dennis Dodd | Senior College Football Columnist

NEW YORK -- You have to read Jim Delany, know his nuances, decipher his meaning.
The only way to cut through the B.S. was to ask the basic question for the most significant figure here at the IMG Intercollegiate Athletics Forum.
Are you done?

Delaney is college football cancer. Only interest in creating the biggest for profit non profit entity in the land. Plenty of good schools, teams and people feel pain in the future because of this guy.

If the "Big 10" actually tried to expand West and include Arizona State, what sort of craziness would that set off? This is getting nuts.

The College Football World would be a better place if we could go back in whatever place in time that would be prior to his influence and just erase everything he's done.

Since we can't do that the rest of the world just has to figure out how to survive and prosper while playing by his rules.

And he's not seriously interested in Virginia and/or Georgia Tech....he's just clearing his throat and indirectly telling Notre Dame the train is about to pull out of the station...."Get on board if you ever plan to". Just my humble opinion.

I hate what Delaney has done to CFB. Though I'll be happy that his last 4 additions will be Rutgers Maryland Virginia and Georgia Tech. Talk about some underwhelming additions. B10 fans should be furious. I'm thankful he left behind a bunch of programs I might actually want to see TCU play in the B12.

"I believe that 12 is the perfect number, 14 teams is an association.

"What's 16?"

A Cluster....

And reference higher above: the SWC imploded when Saint Jim Wacker arrived along with Satanic Jackie Sherrill....After that there was no collegiality, congeniality, or cooperation. The life support was pulled in 1994 and the patient lingered on earth until 1995.

Don't forget Roy Kramer. Both he and Delaney are on my list of folks I'm taking with me should I be diagnosed with a terminal condition.

College football was a lot more enjoyable years ago. We can't go back and need to look forward and find ways to make this game great. Delaney doesn't care about anything but money and he's good at finding it.
