Anybody know how the fundraising for DMC renovation is coming? CDC teased it again, but gave nothing concrete. Seems to be in the same place for over a year now, at least in his public comments. I'd bet privately some decisions have been made: either to put that on the back burner or make it a priority. Anybody know which?

Do we know whether the design will be a total reformation along the lines of AGC, or more of a cosmetic renovation (read: more lipstick on a pig)?
Everything I've heard is lipstick on a pig.
IMO, they need to tear it down and start over, but I know that is out of the question.

So, LSU tickets NOT part of season ticket package. Also does CDC do this every wednesday?
CDC does the chat monthly.
And, LSU tickets are not part of the season ticket package like the Oregon State game a couple years ago.

Idk. Seems like nothing is out of the question. It's just a matter of how serious we get about doing something. Complete overhaul of AGC was a daunting task, and our supporters knocked that out in record pace. If our full weight got behind it, we could redo DMC too, I would think.
Now, will our full weight ever get behind basketball? Idk.

Didn't see any "whining" about seats between the 40's or otherwise. I did see two legit questions about the process for upgrading seats. The first one, CDC called a "great question."

I think there are a number of design options but I believe that widening the concourse is a key element in all of them. So is a newer and more attractive entry way that incorporates a TCU basketball "hall of fame" into the design. Something to make the exterior look better is part of the plan, unless it has changed which it may have

I think the concourse is the biggest need, but then I've always thought DMC is a better arena than many give it credit for. Its in good shape, the sightlines are great, and its the right size. Needs sprucing up and I'm sure they want to create 'premium' seating. Plus the concourse and exterior.

Are bball games now well-attended enough to justify that kind of cost? In my years at TCU the place was a wasteland during games.
