DCTF on recruits

[Burner1]

I picked up a copy of the winter edition of Dave Campbell's Texas Football today. As they rate this year's recruits, TCU has commitments from the #1 linebacker (Sammy Douglas), #2 cornerback (Ranthony Texada), #2 tight end (Charlie Reid), #4 athlete (Ty Slanina), #6 safety (George Baltimore), #8 offensive lineman (Patrick Morris) and #10 running back (Kyle Hicks). Also, Slanina is the class 2A Player of the Year.

Trevorris Johnson not on that list?

[West Coast Johnny]

There are nine running backs in Texas better than Hicks, really?

There were only two better than him when he was a UT commit...

[An-Cap Frog]

Doesn't matter...how many starzies?

[froginaustin]

Some of us have a tendency, I know I do, to fret about the ones that get away or might get away and forget the great prospects that are already firmly committed.

2-3 maybe if you count Dontre Wilson. Definitely not 9

Where did you buy it?

[Burner1]

One interesting thing is, out of the 120 players on that list, only six are commited to Texas.

Barnes and Noble didn't have it, but I found it at an HEB. Probably will be everywhere today or tomorrow.

Maybe....but he's running on 1 leg right now

The big question is how many of these recruits will be around in four years! That has been a problem lately!

Fortunately that's the case with most places... but on a annual basis.

Cheers !

About half of 'em. The smart ones and the worst players.
