Comments from BON:

Case Keenum, Jerrod Johnson and Andy Dalton

With title that reads "A Cut Above: A Trio of QB's from Texas that will pile up wins, yards, and awards in 2010."

Honestly, if you ask me, I love it. You got the best QB in the state in Keenum, the best dual threat QB in the nation in Johnson and the highly overrated Andy Dalton of TCU. Well, these are the best QB's in the state by far, with maybe Robert Griffin replacing Dalton for #3.

If you love Texas football, pick up "the bible," because there really isnt a reason to get any other pre-season magazine than this one. This copy hits stands on Tuesday, June 15th

HEB in San Antonio must have not gotten the memo, because I picked up one on Saturday. Astonishing that there is not a Longhorn on the cover, except for Mack stuck way up in the corner. I think I have seen everything now.

Hopefully this is the year we break the DCTF cover jinx.

Wacker and Davis in '85; 3-8 record, lost Davis and others to violations, led to living death penalty.

Francione in 1999..Good year (8-5, bowl win), but left us after one more year.

Casey Printers in 2001; 6-6; lost to I-AA team; lost to aggies in worst QB performance in a TCU bowl game, ever.

#23? in 2004; 5-6 record; No Bowl Game! ;TT scored 70 on us, lots of others scored a bunch, too. Almost total collapse of the defense.

Tommy Blake in '07 ; led to 8-5 sesaon after much higher expectations; Blake crashed with mental condition.

But this has to be the year things finally get together for us!

Bunch of dirtbag Texas homers who hate TCU. Anybody who is associated with anyone there or who is associated with anyone who works with anyone from that site are definitely not TCU fans.

Is that the picture of Mack Brown from the end of the big12 championship game, holding up his finger so that they would put time back on the clock after Colt had lost the game?

Nope, it's Mack in the game where they beat the so-called best team in history to win the national champsionship.

A picture from 5 years ago? Doubt it.

Check out the pullover. That is from the 2005 season. It could be a stock photo from a practice or something, but Mack hasn't worn that pullover in a game situation since the championship game vs. USC.

I thought Jerrod Johnson was the most overrated QB....

I think Dalton disappointed some Texans, who don't wear purple glasses, with his Fiesta Bowl performance.

TCU fans like to blame the coaches for the game against Boise, but a neutral observer would probably say we got outplayed.

Our o was completely outcoached in the first half by Boise's defensive coaches and the lack of defense on the "trick" play can also be fairly attributed to coaching.

edit: and BTW, fans who wear purple glasses were also disappointed with his Fiesta Bowl performance.
