DB Money Hunter: LB at TCU?

I guess Scout now reporting similar. FWIW the ESPN article does say he is being recruitted by Sharp. Seems to fit the hybrid role that they are after more and more. Doubt those 40 times are correct as he and Torii have similar speed.

Because TCU has never brought in a player who others didn't believe had any value? Its hard to say if he or a lot of others players will be any good. But because you read an article of someone else's opinon you immediately want to reject him? I trust the coaches to analyze the situation and make a decision based on their EXPERT opinion of what the team needs and who they believe could develop to fill those needs. Sometimes the underdog has more fight and motivation in them to succeed. We like to call that Frog Factor.
So you don't have any opinion yourself and just rely on the coaches opinion. How lame.

I just make my opinion off rational facts and logic. Not an article you might have read that your failed to provide to the discussion. At the end of the day I am happy with who ever they bring in because I don't have a say in the matter. GP and his staff have proven to know more about football than you or me or anyone on this board.

I said, I am concerned about his speed but think he could add some weight and play LB just fine. Where are these negative articles you mention? At least provide evidence you didn't make up your claim.

Looks like a player not afraid to lay a hit. Needs to wrap up. But yes looks D1 to me.
Yea, I'd agree. He's a hard hitter. And he makes plays with good reaction speed. He should go to SMU and play safety. D1 linebackers in highschool are the biggest, baddest muthas on the field. They are supposed to be intimidators. IMO he is no where near being a TCU linebacker.

This is simply another example of the staff looking working tirelessly. While he has received some interest from the TCU staff, I do not think there is anything to see here.

The only offers this guy had were part of a package deal with he and his brother, Torii Hunter Jr.

For those that remember, his other brother is accused of sexual assault with 4 others. Plus, check out why they call him Money.

Darius Hunter is one of three Hunter brothers who have emerged as pillars of the Prosper football program. Darius Hunter's brothers, Moonshadrik "Money" Hunter and Torii Hunter Jr., are also both considered top college football recruits, with Torii Jr. in particular considered a potential difference maker in college football.

You need to stop spreading stories that are old.

The accuser recanted weeks later.

Doubt he plays for SMU. He has an offer from WVU which is a better football school. Although smu is the better academic school and he might take into account.

Listen, I they want him, there is a reason why. Who knows what his real 40 time is???? Alot of athletes hate the forty and running it for a bunch of older men. Maybe the son of a multi-millionaire feels like sporting a 40 time has nothing to do with playing on the field. Drop the crap about some incident where the accuser recanted.
