I saw this article about Money Hunter son of an Angels OF. I remember a while back many wanted his brother Tori to commit to TCU, but instead selected to go with ND. Money has been playing saftey and suggests that he could make the transition to LB? Anyone keeping up with his high school games?

For those that remember, his other brother is accused of sexual assault with 4 others. Plus, check out why they call him Money.

Darius Hunter is one of three Hunter brothers who have emerged as pillars of the Prosper football program. Darius Hunter's brothers, Moonshadrik "Money" Hunter and Torii Hunter Jr., are also both considered top college football recruits, with Torii Jr. in particular considered a potential difference maker in college football.

Not being an expert, 190 doesn't seem that far off. I am completely confident that the TCU coaches will get him into the weight room for strength training and put some muscular pounds onto his frame. The thing one that concerns me is his 40 time being around 5 seconds. The OLB has a lot of responsibility in covering a large area of the field. My question would be what is an average 40 time for the position? I'm sure that 40 could drop with sprint drills so not overly concerned if he has a knack for the position.

I don't know why people always being up his brothers incident or why it is relevant to Money's recruiting. I also didnt see why they call him Money. Is it just because his name is Moonshadrik?

Additionally, in another thread people claiming that we need more LB and OL. Now a LB name pops up people are not excited? I thought there would be more excitement and interest.

Matt Panfil came in to TCU as a safety too. That worked out OK for us in the Poinsettia Bowl against Boise. Have a little faith man, athletes can put on weight and still be successful at new positions.
Exactly!! If the thought is to move him to linebacker, I think the coaches would get him ready for that.

How many tackles his senior year? If their going to be this small, we need them to at least be fast, with a nose for the ball.

So if the coaches think he is so good, why haven't they offered him?
I can't speak for the coaches, and nowhere did I say the coaches thought he was good. I was responding to your usual negative comments about [Craig James] you don't know anything about. If the coaches are at least looking at him, I think they have a plan for him if and when they offer him. I think the coaches have proven that they are a better eye for talent than most, including you!!

IMO - he's not very good. By the accounts that I've read, he is slow and small for the linebacker position. Everything I've ever read about the fabulous Hunter brothers is that Torii Junior was the best of the three. Why do you think he is good?

Because TCU has never brought in a player who others didn't believe had any value? Its hard to say if he or a lot of others players will be any good. But because you read an article of someone else's opinon you immediately want to reject him? I trust the coaches to analyze the situation and make a decision based on their EXPERT opinion of what the team needs and who they believe could develop to fill those needs. Sometimes the underdog has more fight and motivation in them to succeed. We like to call that Frog Factor.
