Daily Oklahoman: Sooners rally in second half to top TCU

NORMAN — Buddy Hield’s mom had been a bit upset with him this week.
Despite Oklahoma not having a mid-week game, Hield didn’t get to spend much time with Jackie Swann during her first full week visiting her son from the Bahamas.
“She was on me because I kept staying in the gym late at night and I wasn’t coming home on time,” Hield said after sparking the Sooners to a 67-60 win over TCU on Saturday. “I just wanted to go out there and do what I always do normally and it was fun.”
Hield snapped out of a slump and led the Sooners with 21 points and a career-high 13 rebounds as Oklahoma had to come back to beat the Horned Frogs in front of an estimated 5,091 at Lloyd Noble Center. ...
