Daeshon Hall

This guy visited recently and according to reports had a fantastic time. Originally a U Washington commit but now looking around and various defensive schemes (his words) to determine his best fit.

Could you imagine our DL with Fields on one end and a 6'6, 225lb (240 according to yahooooo) Daeshon Hall at the other? Really really hope the Frogs can get this guy and Duke Riley in.

Daeshon Hall visited Aggie last week and didn't commit. He seems to fit in very well at TCU and with Stans going to the NFL, chance for early playing time, and track record with freshmen D-End all americans. Seems like a very good fit for both sides.

Well Sumlin told him that if he wanted to look around that he could forget about going to Aggy. Said he'd pull the possible greyshirt offer.

This was my thought as well. With his size and apparent high-motor he'd be a strong candidate for immediate PT

Sounds like he's high on A&M but as has been said, he didn't commit. A lot of folks think he'll be an Aggie but i'm a little more skeptical.

What concerns me is he took his official visit to TCU on a Sunday. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe he got the full experience as a typical official, I don't think he got to hang out with the players or other recruits as much which I think could have helped our chances.

Man, I would NEVER, EVER go to a school where the coach told me that if I want to visit other schools to be sure I examined all my options to find the best fit for me, he would no longer offer. I can understand a coach not wanting to wait a long time for a decision, but still. If I were sitting in front of a coach and he told me that, I would say, "Hasta la vista, dewshbag."

Sumlin is playing by a different set of rules. FL and GA might not turn in Aggy to the NCAA but UT and et al in the state won't hesitate to. Will be interesting to see how long Aggy can recruit like the sec in a b12 state.

I thought he showed up out of the blue on a friday just like the others in his group but I might be wrong. I also heard that he brought his mother with him to the visit - so he might be evaluating TCU on more serious criteria then the party scene.

If that were to happen, Im sure the NCAA would act swiftly and appropriately. Just like Miami.

seriously? its a big texas school in the sec...makes perfect sense to me. sumlin came into a good situation and had the heisman winner and destroyed OU in the cotton bowl and beat alabama in t town. explain to me why you could be surprised they are recruiting amazingly.

Because they are Aggies - a degenerate species of subhuman miscreants who are unworthy of the respect given terrorists.

Jackie Sherrill and RC Slocum both have advisory positions at A&M.... Just because they're in the sec doesn't change who they really are.

Let me understand your argument.... You're saying that because they are successful on the field that's why they aren't cheating?

A little history, who do you think in the SWC turned in SMU? Dan Beebe as a NCAA investigator had a great relationship with UT long before he was the the B12 commish.
My point is that this will only go on for so long especially since they aren't conference mates anymore.

UT might need to walk a fine line. Allegedly Mack was the one who told on Oregon et. al. for using an outside recruiting service.

Cannot understand anyone who would want to waste their college days stuck in College Station TX. I don't care if they are in the SEC, whatever. I mean, what are you going to do for fun? What are you going to do for an educational experience? Sit in freshman classes that have 200+ students and take multiple choice tests?

I switched schools from A&M to TCU after my freshman year. It was, without a doubt, the best decision of my life. I hope this young man makes the right choice.

I know, it's weird how nearly 50k students go there every year. Clearly they haven't heard what you had to say.
