Cypress Creek Mirror: Cy Falls’ Willie finds perfect match in TCU

A lot of high school athletes had to make tough choices during last week’s National Signing Day. That day went a lot smoother for Cy Falls’ Carol Willie.
Willie was one of the many CFISD athletes who signed their National Letter of Intent during last week’s Signing Day.
Willie signed on to play at TCU in Fort Worth. Willie – one of the better post players in the district – was a huge part of the Cy Falls team that went to the state tournament last season.
“It really is a big deal,” Cy Falls head coach Jim Stephens said. “We’re excited. We had four kids sign last year and to see Carol work hard all of these years and being in position to sign at a great basketball and great academic school. She’s a great credit to our program. She’s affected our culture and we’ve got some good young ones coming behind her.” ...
