Cumbie should be gone for one of two reasons...

Either Cumbie has had full control trio over the offense and he has failed the last two seasons and should be fired

-or-

GP is so domineering that Cumbie hasn’t been able to run his style offense. In that case SC should leave in his own cause his reputation is being tarnished. Also, GP should hang them up if he can’t let an OC run an offense cause no OC worth his salt will come work under GP.

Either way, SC should be somewhere else next season

Something a smart OC would do, would be to plan around his players abilities... or lack thereof.

 

[More Frogs the Better]

A good illustration of why GP is involved with the offense: When re-watching the game, the announcer was talking about how Cumbie had run a specific play three times and why it wasn’t working with what the defense was doing and like clockwork there is GP going over to Cumbie to tell him to cut it out running that play. GP is involved because the OC is clueless.
