Just got notification that my company is no longer requiring the vaccine because of the Supreme Court Decision

Those absolute pieces of trash on the Supreme Court couldn’t have made this decision before many of us were forced to be vaccinated against our will!?!?!?

They can all go to Hell.

The last vestiges of negativity about Omicron are eroding.

We had quite a few very successful sales reps for my company refuse vaccination, they were essentially terminated, (put on unpaid leave, removed access to company systems, no contact/communication with customers, etc), only to start shipping back their laptops this week.

Played chicken with a large corporation and won. I’m sure there are going to be some nice “recovery packages” offered to these folks for lost income and damage to their business.

I really don't understand companies that pushed ahead like that, if they didn't want to require vaccination on their own.

Was VERY easy to take steps toward complying with the mandates while remaining in a holding pattern as my company did.

I feel like those other companies had colossally stupid HR people.

The only explanation is that they were trying to bully people into getting vaxxed and blaming the mandate and will now say they were acting in good faith.

Seemed pretty crazy at the time, and still does, an employer forcing people to accept specific medical care without their permission.

Without going into too much detail, it’s also an industry related company with employees at high risk. Guessing the CEO felt the need to lead the charge in protecting the business under the guise of “protecting” its employees.

Sick employees can’t generate revenue.

My company did and stuck with their Nov. deadline. They came out right after Biden’s attempt to deflect from Afghanistan in August, and said they intended to comply with the OSHA rule whenever it went into effect. Then they got tired of waiting around and went ahead anyway. Didn’t effect me because I already had 2 shots last spring, but I fully expect a booster mandate soon.

Every HR coordinator/person I’ve ever met is a leftist. Wouldn’t surprise me that companies would try to punish anyone against the narrative

Most HR people in corporate America are raging leftists.

Your company did exactly what the Biden Administration wanted. The Biden administration knew this would get struck down, but they also knew that there was enough support in corporate America that many would go ahead and enforce the mandate post haste, thereby helping them towards their goal of forcing more people to get vaccinated.

It was a dirty, dirty trick they pulled on the American people. And our media is too scheissing in the tank to even call out the deceit.

Crybaby liberals would have impeached Trump for intentionally doing something unconstitutional.

Well, and if companies choose to do it in their own, that's fine. If they reverse course post SC decision that would make no sense.
