  3. forgotten that the sugarland minor league team is running a 4-team league at their park and actually are allowing spectators

    there are some guidelines to follow regarding spacing, but it would be interesting to see how this plays out in regards to testing etc.....

  5. Texas Collegiate League has also been allowing spectators and drawing some decent crowds. Non MLB baseball is being played on a large scale in this country and has been since late May. Covid has been MAYBE a minor issue.

  8. As an example, check the fans here. This is happening all over the country on a daily basis almost entirely without any issues.

  13. Sweden update......5,572 total deaths (26% of which were people 90+ years old, 89% were people 70+). 99.95% of the population remains alive. Case fatality rate of those under 50 is 0.18%. For those under 30 it's 0.063%. Total deaths dropping from an average of about 650/week in April to 25 in the past week.

  15. Stereotyping here, but hispanics tend to be overweight, plus there are a lot of multi-generational households in that community. And you aren't going to convince hispanics to socially distance very well no matter what, that isn't consistent with the culture. Think large family gatherings, and often.

    Either those are the reasons, or they aren't wearing masks I guess.
