Congrats to the TCU faithful, it's been a crazy year of player attrition & yiu have an impressive squad even with young talent that wasn't expected to play this much.
I live in Ohio now, but family is still in DFW (Mom lives :05 from campus). I sat in Amon Carrer as a kid w/ the crickets and watched the 83-16 TX/TCU games. I took my kids on campus & visited the new athletic facilities this April.. amazing. I remember the baseball field in the early 70's, I was overcome with the quality of the current developments.
I bleed orange, but TCU has become my second team.. I would never think having a second team would be possible but it's hard not to appreciate what y'all have accomplished since I was a kid.
My family has TX grads dating to 1904 & a few that lettered in sports. My son is a TX fan & at the ripe age of 14 & despite being in Ohio has more exposure to Longhorn sports & events than most native TX sons. He really took to the TCU & Ft Worth experience & will camp w/ the TCU baseball program the next two years w/ hopes to draw interest from thd staff.
When he brought this to me I didn't flinch.. I couldn't be happier with his choice of camps.
