He has a strange throwing motion - and the bowl game definitely didn't help his draft status. I like him as a college player, but I just don't think he's NFL QB caliber...just not accurate enough and a very slow release.

Heard on sportscenter that Manziel's heisman economic impact to A&M is $37 million. $37 MILLION! Wonder how much Klein's run benefited KState? Then, it's thanks kid and he's on his way to selling cars.

In reality, how hard is it for a guy like Klein to learn a brand new position and be expected to compete against guys in the NFL who have many more years experience at that position?
What are some examples of people that have done it successfully?

Antwaan Randle El comes to mind. Julian Edelman. Several guys became decent special teamers.

So many of the truly elite skill athletes were QB's in high school that they are only behind 2-3 years. Additionally, as a successful college QB, you pretty much need to know everything a TE does, can do, will do and might do.

If you have the physical tools, the transition can be relatively easy. Some might even argue a benefit to having 'seen' the position from a different perspective.
