All of those schools should fire their coaches and AD'S.
The reality is that college baseball is very difficult. Even now, as these guys have gotten more polished, you see uncharacteristic errors, bad at bats, etc. in huge games.
Baseball is streaky so a team can get hot or run cold at any time. And injuries to pitchers are killers.
We were VERY spoiled by Schloss. Four CWS in a row is unheard of. He left and took Aggie to 2 out of 3, now has UT on the doorstep.
I think there are 14 schools who have been to 6 CWS since 2000, and all of ours are since 2010 (9 schools have that many since 2010).
Doesn't mean we shouldn't be unhappy, upset, angry about the last two years but there is a reality that we've far surpassed what a fan base can expect, and we've been spoiled by it. When we make it to Omaha, go. And enjoy the hell out of it. And when we flop, be frustrated.
I don't think those who complain frequently would have been OK with making regionals these last two years and losing in those. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so.
Meanwhile, if you're really a fan, enjoy this tournament - it's been great to watch so far.
