pitching staffs in all of college baseball 6-3.
Wow, that small ball is really great.
You're right...we should just say to hell with it and swing away. Screw small ball. It always costs you the trophy anyway. You got it figured out. You're way ahead of the curve. A baseball prodigy really...

So, nobody has a problem with criticizing Rick Carlisle when the Mavs shoot too many jumpshots, or Jason Garrett when the Cowboys throw too many passes. Each of them has won a helluva lot of games and knows more than any layman about his sport. Why exactly is Schloss off limits?

The Mavs ferociously underachieved. Their above-mentioned "strategy" cost them wins they should have gotten. I don't follow the Cows so I can't speak to that.
Last I checked, TCU is winning during the playoffs. Their strategy has not cost them key wins. Until that becomes untrue, it's not even close to the Mavs and Carlisle.
IF it is working, why bash it? Small ball has been working for TCU and helped them win games. It worked for Clemson today. I honestly don't why some of y'all have a problem with that. Let me see, TCU is in the College World Series for the first time and their methods have been succesful if not befuddled their opposition, and you have a problem with that?
I guess it ain't a party for some until someones slits their wrists.
Garrido plays small ball and Schloss plays smart ball. I only saw one bunt in the 5 run 1st. Augie, as great as he is may have managed that iNning down to 2 or 3 runs with his brand. I can understand giving outs to manufacture runs when you have a 4 run lead with one of the best staffs in the Country. I don't like it but I trust it because Schloss has earned my trust. BTW, he has my trust regardless of how far we advance. There are 8 great teams here that can pitch and hit. Nervous! Exciting! Awesome!

I bet fbb is also against punting and kicking field goals...GO FOR IT.
Doouuuhhhhhhggggg!!!
I hate those.....
Why punt? Why kick Field Goals?!! Our kicker missed a few inside the 20 against...uhh, Utah..... yeah that was it. SCORE TD'S!!!
What would you guys have to get fired up about if I didn't bit@h and gripe about something?
This was a great post.
The little league team I coach has games Thursday and Friday night this week and I going to have them all bunt just to piss a few of y'all off, and we never bunt.
