It is odd that so many of the players that got in finished their careers so long ago, the most recent having finished 13 years ago. Like what makes Marvin Harrison worthy now when he apparently wasn't for the last 25 years?

Well, for the last 5-6 years of his career he was, the record clearly shows that.

But his overall body of work is deserving of the CFHOF.

Saban, Meyer, Mack Brown, Dantonio, Solich, Paul Johnson, Snyder, Richt, Beamer and Stoops are already in. Pretty good company, though Paul Johnson and Solich are puzzling.

Chris Ault is in, but not Leach? That's strange.

There's a good wave coming with current coaches, but a lot of names we think will be in there based on what they are doing right now may not make it.

This really is quite an honor. Though we all expected this, it's pretty amazing that he's considered one of the greatest coaches of all time.

I always count an eighth. In 2005, we were 11th in AP, but 9th in coaches poll.
