Connor Stalions fires back at Sonny Dykes, says Michigan knew 'almost every signal' against TCU and Georgia

The former Wolverines staffer tells his side of the story

By Brad Crawford

NCAA Football: Fiesta Bowl-Texas Christian at Michigan

TCU coach Sonny Dykes said this week at Big 12 Media Days that the Horned Frogs changed their play calls ahead of the 2022 College Football Playoff semifinals against Michigan after they were "tipped off" about the Wolverines' sign-stealing plans. First reported by Yahoo Sports in 2023, Dykes acknowledged his staff used "dummy signals" and altered a few decisions during TCU's 51-45 victory to try to thwart Michigan's perceived advantage.

Former Wolverines staffer Connor Stalions, the focal point behind Michigan's sign-stealing saga, fired back Friday at Dykes' claim on social media. Stalions resigned from his position as a team analyst in Ann Arbor during the 2023 season amid the NCAA's investigation.

Was I supposed to type something here?
Wow. That's a guy who doesn't know when to shut up...

Dude, you and your whole scheme were blown up because you were arrogant enough to believe that you would always, always have the drop on your opponent. Then, you got smacked upside the head by somebody who had smoked you out, and planned on using your arrogance against you.

That, or they knew we had an OC who had one foot out the door.
Or how bout Georgia knew we had OC 1.5 feet out the door and they(Georgia and Michigan) knew our offensives tendencies. That is what I have a firm belief on.
As I have talked about before, TCU Vs. Michigan play 12-31-22. G Riley is hired "officially" 1-12-23. Clemson was in contact with Riley during holidays '22. The players knew it by Christmas. This created the wild wild rollercoaster in the line at Vegas sbooks. While it is not cause to TCUs performance against Georgia, it certainly was the primary contributor to the Natty loss.

Connor Stalions.... will go down as the biggest cheater "Cheetah" in CFB history. I will speculate that is not his real name and he took his lessons from the NE Patriots ballboy filmer who left the the lower 48 and is now living a wonderful tropical life in Hawaii courtesy of massage boooy Robert Kraft.

This Stallions guy is a real piece of work. He still won't publicly admit that he disguised himself as a Central Michigan staffer and was on their bench during a game they played against Michigan State even though there are photos all over the Internet showing him on the sidelines. Plus, Dave Portnoy says Stallions privately admitted to him that he was indeed there in disguise.

What disturbs me the most is that Stallions is a graduate of the Naval Academy and spent five years in the Marine Corps. Somehow, I think Annapolis and the USMC will live this down but it's still a disgrace.

likely both. sign stealing goes on everywhere. just like when they pinched the Astros. That report had parts that found quite a few other teams were doing it like the Astros. Including the Dodgers, etc.

Anybody who doesn't think the big guys are not digging that deep into sign stealing in college football is only kidding themself.

We still kicked your A$$
impossible. there are people on this board who still say we would never win in a playoff system or against the blue bloods or ... yada yada yada.
also, the lower to middle teams in our conference matter in showing how our conference stands up, but only the top teams in place like the SEC matter in showing how they stack up yada yada yada
