Cameron Echols Luper...QB?

Just spent 20 minutes watching Luper's highlight tape, and the biggest thing that stood out to me is that he is really good at throwing the football. I mean really really really good. I think we need to give him a shot at QB. Great mechanics, arm strength, accuracy, vision, field awareness, and ability to throw on the run. Only thing that is missing is the height, but I don't see why he can't be another Russell Wilson.

No way you can watch this video and not think he should get a shot at QB. He makes some absolutely nasty throws in this video.

CEL looks just like Devin Fuller who also played QB in high school. Fuller made a big deal about wanting to play the position in college which is one reason he ended up at UCLA.

Fuller had a fine freshman year as a wideout. I anticipate CEL to do the same.

He is a very smooth athlete when he runs the ball. A video on ESPN of a camp has him playing WR and absolutely faking the jock off the DB on his second try. Looks bigger than 5-11 or 6-0, too. Doesn't seem to throw sidearm like Boykin, either.

However, he says TCU want him to be a WR.

On RW, if you noticed on passing plays RW takes deeper drops to see receivers down field. Also, Drew Breese tends to stand on is tippy toes and lifts his head up after taking the snap. There are probably other techniques that can be used for a QB that is not 6-4.
