This is because the BIG 10-12-14 (whatever they are now) is so bad....... Hopefully we don't lose to these Spartans.

And because this game is anticipated to be a defensive slugfest. One very bad offense and another that's had it's issues (which Boykin will show up!) makes for an anemic O production for all concerned.

It might just come down to a pick-six.

This rating is based on entertainment value. Most folks think lots of scoring and no defense is entertaining. Those who love solid defense will really like this game, even if it ends up 10-6

I know it's not a top 10 game but #33... Seriously? 2 top defenses in one of the top Big XII bowls. These guys must be on something to think these other games are better. Hawaii Bowl? Little Caesar's Bowl? Wow...

Not to mention it's obvious the second best game is the cotton bowl behind the MNC (An argument could be made for KSU Oregon but still....).

Its a 7-5 team vs a 6-6 team, neither of which will likely score many points. So on the surface, for anyone that does not have an existing interest in either of the two teams, it does not look very compelling.

EDSBS is what it is, written to entertain rather than inform.

I actually thought the article was pretty funny, and our bowl had the best bit. The bit about Sarin gas got me.

13. Buffalo Wild Wings – TCU (7-5) vs. Michigan State (6-6) – Dec. 29 at 10:15 p.m. ET

With both teams returning a solid core of talent next season, this bowl could be a springboard to a big 2013. Despite losing quarterback Casey Pachall and moving to the Big 12, the Horned Frogs finished with a 7-5 record and are making their eighth consecutive bowl game. Michigan State was expected to be one of the frontrunners for the Big Ten title this year but needed a victory over Minnesota in the regular season finale just to get bowl eligible. This could be the final game for Spartans running back Le’Veon Bell, who could be entering the NFL Draft. Points could be at a premium with both teams ranked in the top 20 of total defense.
