Did the committee move Alabama up 1 spot? Why?

Because they beat 5-7 Auburn in the final minutes of the game? Meanwhile, I'm no ND apologist but didn't they beat 4-8 Stanford by 28?
I apparently am a ND apologist and I didn’t understand that either. I think they moved Alabama up and ND down because of blue blood bias.

Notre Dame is about to get scheissed by the committee. The wheels are in motion. If BYU wins Saturday then bye-bye Irish. Espn made a call and said we can't have BYU in and bama out. Make something happen.

Ok. I haven't read every comment so forgive me if this is redundant... But think about if TCU had the following results this year.. Would we be in the playoffs?

L to Miami
L to A&M
W to Purdue
W to Arkansas
W to Boise
W to NC State
W to USC
W to Boston College
W to Navy
W to Pitt
W to Syracuse
W to Stanford

With 7 home games. So would we be in? I think we'd be in the 15-18 range and outside the playoffs because we wouldn't have a 13th "data point".

Sure, if the two losses were by a total of 3 points. I think people are stuck in the old mode of thinking you gotta be almost perfect to make the playoffs. There will be 3-4 teams make that have some what used to be considered flawed records. That’s what you get with 12 teams.

Everyone seems to think Texh will get in even if they lose. Do this same exercise with them, penciling in a loss Saturday. How is that any more impressive than ND? Hint - it won’t be.

#6 in ESPN’s Strength of Record ranking is a 12.5 point underdog to #10. Me thinks there might be a flaw in that program somewhere.

For all you Cougs who believe your hype, this is a chance for some easy money.

They play an extra game against the 2nd best team in their conference? What's NDs most impressive win??
