ESPN has TCU playing Jan. 2 at either the Armed Forces Bowl against Army or the Liberty Bowl against Memphis.

If it were the Liberty Bowl against an SEC team, that would be fine. Not against Memphis in their home stadium. Boo hiss. Independence Bowl against Sonny Cumbie. That's interesting. Shreveport is not the world's best spot.

I like the Armed Forces Bowl against Army. Good game with no travel. The kids will hate it, but they should have played better…

That WAS a program-changing game, IMHO.
Fans had a good time, too (IIRC). You can do worse than Beale Street (like some dump casino in Bossier City).
